Drawing area
This is where you and the remote user draw. Dragging the mouse while holding the left button uses the selected tool with the primary color; dragging with the right button uses it with the secondary color.
Dropdown menu
Copy
Copies the image in the drawing area to the clipboard.
Save as bitmap
Saves the image to a BMP file.
Record drawing
Begins recording all drawing activity to a file, in order to play it back later.
Play back drawing
Plays back a recorded drawing session from a file.
Clear button
Erases the drawing area.
Pencil tool
Freehand drawing. Lays down the selected color wherever you move the mouse.
Line tool
Draws a straight line from one point to another. Hold down Shift to constrain the line to 45-degree increments.
Outlined rectangle tool
Draws the outline of a rectangle. Hold down Shift to draw a square instead.
Filled rectangle tool
Draws the outline of a rectangle in the selected color, and fills it with the other color. Hold down Shift to draw a square instead.
Outlined ellipse tool
Draws the outline of an ellipse. Hold down Shift to draw a circle instead.
Filled ellipse tool
Draws the outline of an ellipse in the selected color, and fills it with the other color. Hold down Shift to draw a circle instead.
Text tool
Draws text. Click where you want the text to appear, type the text, and then press Enter. Double-click on the text tool to change the font.
Eraser tool
Erases with a wide brush. The eraser is controlled just like the pencil.
Fill tool
Fills an area with the selected color. The area is defined by the point you click in the drawing area and all connected pixels of the same color.
Arrow tool
Draws an arrow from one point to another. The arrow is controlled just like the line.
Primary color button
Click to select a new primary color. The current primary color is displayed to the right of the button.
Secondary color button
Click to select a new secondary color. The current secondary color is displayed to the right of the button.
Pen width button
Click to change the pen width, which is used for the pencil, line, arrow, and shape outlines. An example of the current pen width is shown next to the button.
